Welcome! I am so glad you are here!
The Thai Cooking Guide is on a mission to share everything about Thai food: knowledge about ingredients, trips to the local markets, farms and kitchens, authentic recipes, trials and errors of learning how to cook it, but most of all the joys and pleasures of eating Thai and mastering how to cook it well at home.
Cooking Thai can be a daunting experience if you haven’t tried it before – at least it was for me. But once I got into the swing of it, I found that it wasn’t really that complicated. If you are a beginner, my desire is to help you get comfortable cooking Thai. And if you are a pro at it already, I hope you will be inspired to cook Thai more often.
All recipes are original, as taught me by local friends and acquaintances, mainly in northern Thailand. You are welcome to leave questions or comments about your experiences with the recipes. I would especially love to hear if you like the food!
If you ever have any questions, please feel free to leave them below, and I will do everything I possibly can to guide and help you out. Or you can send me any requests you might have for a specific dish, and I will strive to bring it up in a future post.
